A little bit about Robland
Robland was founded by Robert landuyt in 1972. The company when first founded started building combined, good quality; woodworking machines for the DIY market. Today the Landuyt family still own the company.
Throughout the years the range of products has been extended with panel saws, spindle moulders and planer thicknessers, always conserving the original mission of its founder, to offer an excellent final product for a good price. The company has premises of 25,000 sq metres, with 18,000 sq metres used solely for production. At any one time approximately 90 people are employed within Robland at their facilities in Brugges, Belgium.
Almost all parts used in the assembly of a Robland machine are manufactured in-house, followed by the final assembly of the components to create the finished product. Manufacturing in this way guarantees the quality of the whole production process and the final product.
Production of Robland machinery and its components is done using the latest CNC machining centres, lasers, CNC bending machines and welding robots. This efficient combination of production and assembly together with strong control over the general costs and quality, results in meeting the highest standards set by the end user.
Worldwide there are more than 150,000 Robland machines in operation, in the most diverse sectors of the woodworking industry. Robland has a network of international dealers and exports 85% of its production worldwide to more than 100 countries. Approximately 5% of Roblands annual budget is invested in updating various products and in the improvement of production and quality.
